The Magic Begins with You!

In 2002, 18 Wheels of Christmas was created in an effort to give back to the communities where we live and work. The concept, though simple, has far reaching effects for the less fortunate in our communities. Our ultimate goal is to use 18 Wheels of Christmas to stock every Food Bank across Western Canada during Christmas time. We wanted to create a community where no one goes hungry. Your gifts of food, time and money will make a difference.

For over 40 years, food banks have been dedicated to helping Canadians living with food insecurity. Over 3,000 food banks and community agencies come together to serve our most vulnerable neighbors – who last year – made 1.1 million visits to these organizations alone. Due to the current pandemic, needs are much greater this year. From drastic declines in volunteers and food donations to increased public demand in many markets. The need to give is much greater and the vision is clear: we need to create a Canada where no one goes hungry .

Maximize our collective impact

Rosenau Transport, Western Canada’s LARGEST transportation provider is a proud supporter and spearheads this campaign together with its partners to maximize our collective impact through collaborative processes and leadership for a common goal. We leverage these shared voices for the greater impact for our communities.

18 Wheels of Christmas and the food banks is dependent on the support of amazing people like YOU! Without your help we would be unable to provide significant donations of non-perishable foods and consumer goods as well as financial contributions for the food banks in our local communities. This year we want to strengthen our local capacity as we broker strategic opportunities and partnerships to acquire food and funds based on the needs of our neighbors.
